We have other animals at Oakford Llamas. If you have an on-site walk, you may get to meet them.
Rare Breed Sheep
We are starting a herd of rare breed sheep - Manx Loaghtan. These are lovely sheep with lots of horns - up to 6 on one animal! Our first sheep arrived in September 2008, and we hope to have some lambs born in early 2009.

We also have two Hebridean sheep - William and Walter. These are wethers, and company for our Manx ram (Mola, named after a character in Indiana Jones). William is our 'problem' sheep, always trying to escape. So far he has jumped over fences, got his horns stuck in fences, and forced open a gate. Luckily when he gets out he just hangs around outside the fence, and goes back in when he sees us.
Percy the Parakeet
When we moved here, the previous owners couldn't take their parakeet with them, so we took him on. A very friendly and affectionate chap. We are planning to build him a new aviary in the coming months.
Bantams
We have five bantam hens providing our eggs - Milly, Mary, Mungo, Midge and Gandalf. All are black apart from Gandalf the Grey.
More animals will be coming in 2009.
