Oakford Llamas was started in 2008 with the arrival of three beautiful llamas;

Domingo is the friendliest of llama chaps. He is always hungry and ready to eat just about anything that comes under his nose. He loves going out for walks - mainly because he gets to taste leaves as he goes past. This is not something we encourage! He also has a party trick where he will eat a whole banana (including the skin). We call him Ming because he is merciless in his pursuit of food.

 

Matt is a cool dude. He likes to gallop in his field, letting the wind blow his long neck and chest hair around. If we let him,he would probably wear a gold medallion. His nick-name is Flash, to suit his nature and to match with his friend Ming. He is the handsomest Llama we have ever seen.

 

Midnight is our beautiful little girl. Smaller than the boys, with delicate features and long lashes, she doesn't take any nonsense. She ignores the boys' power-plays and assumes that she is in charge most of the time. A true Llama Princess.

We have now had two more fully trained trekking llamas join our little herd - Nick-Knack and Paddy Whack. Pictures and details will be added soon.
